‘Game of Thrones’ Season 5 is So Massive, Reveals Sophie Turner!

The highly-anticipated and much-awaited fifth season of “Game of Thrones” is set to premiere on HBO on April 12, 2015 and actress Sophie Turner, who plays the role of Sansa Stark in the series, says Season 5 is so massive that fans should be surprised with a lot of unexpected things.

Aside from being huge, Sophie says that the storylines of “Game of Thrones” Season 5 are both incredible and insane that she herself is quite obsessed with the them, reports Yahoo Celebrity!

She also added that the fifth season will be full of actions, despite already being an action-packed series during its first four seasons. The actress hinted that apart from the intensified action scenes, there are also some crossovers in the storylines that would breed unexpected things in the series.

“Game of Thrones” on IMAX

Sophie made the disclosure about the Season 5 of “Game of Thrones” on January 29 after watching the last two episodes of Season 4 with the producers of the HBO show via IMAX screening, which was the first time for the actress and also for any TV series for that matter.

She says she’s very privileged to be able to see the series on IMAX for the first time because she actually have not seen anything on IMAX before and that she’s happy and proud to know that “Game of Thrones” is the first TV series to be shown on IMAX.

Turner watched the IMAX screening of episodes titled “The Watchers on the Wall” and “The Children” along with Executive Producers David Benoiff and D.B. Weiss. In addition to the two episodes, the IMAX screening also featured the trailer of “Game of Thrones” Season 5.

Snippets and spoilers

The trailer also featured intriguing snippets and possible spoilers on Sansa where she was shown being given advice by Petyr “Littlefinger” Baelish, played by Aidan Gillen, to avenge the death of her mother and King Joffrey.

In Season 4, Sansa and Littlefinger travelled to The Eyrie after the murder of King Joffrey.

Sophie says that filming of those scenes with Adam was a dramatic change for her because she was so used to acting with a large group of actors during the first three seasons of “Game of Thrones.”

She said she actually finds it funny that from Season 1 to Season 3, she was surrounded by tons of actors but come Season 4, it’s just her and Aidan most of the time. It was a change that she welcomed nonetheless because Aidan was a talented actor that she really felt like the two of them were the gruesome twosome in the series.

Sophie also felt that the change in pace also tested her in the way she approaches every situation, which also required a major shift in her acting mentality as well.
