Game Developer Assures ‘Halo 5: Guardians’ Will Be Spared from Issues that Hounded ‘Halo: The Master Chief Collection’

Gameplay trailers

In order to highlight the announcement of the official release date of “Halo 5: Guardians,” Microsoft has also launched in March two gameplay trailers, both 74 seconds long, that focus on the two main protagonists of the game.

The first one focused on series regular and sentimental gamer favorite Master Chief, while the second one dwells more on Spartan Agent Jameson Locke.

The tagline of the “Halo 5: Guardians” advertisement is ‘who is the hunter and who is the hunted’ alluding to the likelihood that players can actually chose to play Master Chief or Agent Locke, similar to “Halo 2,” where gamers had the opportunity to play either the Master Chief or his nemesis.

Based on the cinematic trailer showed by game developer 343 Industries at the E3 event in June 2013 at Los Angeles, Master Chief, a.k.a. John-117, is still to be the game’s hero. It was said then that he would face a number of challenges and would need a Herculean effort to stay alive while continuously being hunted and on the run.

Bonnie Ross, boss of game publisher 343 Interactive, says that they really wanted that “Halo 5: Guardians” to be a game that is really worth the wait for gamers. He added that the video game shall really pay off the epic promise of the Halo universe in terms of scope, scale, and drama.

The 343 Interactive chief said that they wanted to mesmerize players with the sheer size of the worlds and battles that “Halo 5: Guardians” would offer them to experience like they have never experienced before.
