The actress, in a recent interview, even said in jest that she has changed her hair color from brunette to blonde as part of her preparation for the sequel so she could really look the part as Queen Elsa. It was an obvious joke because Idina is not going to appear in “Frozen 2” as it will just be her voice, not her looks, that will be featured in the upcoming movie.
Idina is also trying to cope with little girls coming to her concerts believing that she is actually a queen. She said that she considers it an honor but she does not want to get too excited about it so much as she has a tendency to swear about something. But she has been trying to contain herself because most of these precocious little girls have mothers on the front row looking after their daughters too.
She said that her concerts is not just meant to showcase her known ability to sing, but to give an intimate performance every time so people would feel like they have come to know her better when they leave the venue after the concert.
Idina said that she wants to usher a new meaning or a new genre to what live performance is all about because it is not about lip synching or auto tuning. She believes that people’s ears have changed because it is often that what they hear in a record is not what really went down in making it.
