Actress Kristen Bell, who provided the voice to Princess Ana in “Frozen,” the most successful animated movie of all time, has confirmed very recently that production for the sequel to the movie will begin next month.
The actress, who recently completed filming for the comedy movie “Bad Moms” along with Mila Kunis, Christina Applegate, and Jada Pinkett-Smith, said that “Frozen 2” will be worth all the wait, that had fans of the franchise excited with delight.
She said that what she knows about the whole team is that they would not just put something out for the sake of putting something out. She added that it is also the reason why it took the team so long to even announce that there is going to be a sequel. She confirmed previous reports that the team wanted to figure out first what story they needed to tell, details Teen Vogue.
Bell also confirmed that the script for “Frozen 2” is pretty much done and the original production team will be back for the sequel.
Wheels now in motion
Although there has not been a specific release date given for “Frozen 2,” what is important is that it is going into production next month according to a major voice character, which means that the wheels of the film will soon be in motion.
While Disney has not said anything about the movie’s release date, critics are predicting that it is going to be in 2018 and the rumor mills also say so.
With Kristen Bell’s recent pronouncement about the movie’s production start, it is likely that the rumor mills will continue to swirl and more speculations about plotlines and characters will come out on the internet henceforth.
The actress said that the story is indeed going to be great based on the promise earlier made by co-writers and co-directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee.

Absurd crossover rumors
There have been rumors going around since last month that the plotline of Disney’s upcoming animated film “Frozen 2” shall have a major twist and shall feature Rapunzel of “Tangled” coming out as the long lost sister of Queen Elsa and Princess Anna of Arendelle.
The same rumors are actually spreading on the internet like wildfire and ironically, Disney Pictures nor Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee have yet to speak about the movie’s plotline at all as of this time.
What Buck and Lee have mentioned upon the official greenlighting of “Frozen 2” by Disney is that the movie shall impart a good message to children just like its predecessor movie did when it was released in November 2013.
They also promised to make the sequel better than the original since that is the way to go which is also one of the reasons why they are taking things slow to ensure that they can come up with a good story and another great film in “Frozen 2.”
Interestingly, other than those general statements from Buck and Lee, no specifics have been mentioned thus far so it is really surprising to find plenty of possible speculations about the movie’s plotline on the internet these days.
One of the more interesting speculations currently making the rumor mills these days has something to do with Rapunzel being the long lost sister of Queen Elsa and Princess Anna, which would make “Frozen 2” a crossover of sort between “Frozen” and “Tangled.”
The speculations went on to say that Elsa and Anna will be learning that they have another sister who also possesses her own superpowers. That sister is to be Rapunzel.
