‘Frozen 2’ Sparks Up Twitter Debate Between Religious Activists and LGBT Groups on Whether Queen Elsa Should Get a Girlfriend or Not

The film’s plot details are still scarce but rumors say that a new villain will come to Arendelle and disrupt the peace that Anna and Elsa created. Speculations say that the upcoming film will also feature the wedding of Anna and Kristoff.

“Frozen” came out in 2013 and was a major success making a total of $1.3 billion at the box office. It has been deemed as the highest-grossing full feature animated movie of all time.

A short sequel entitled “Frozen Fever” premiered in March 2015 along with Disney’s live-action “Cinderella.” The seven-minute sequel narrates the story of Elsa preparing for Anna’s birthday and even featured a song.

Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, Josh Gad, and Santino Fontana all lent their voices to reprise their animated characters for “Frozen Fever.”

After “Frozen Fever” premiered, Disney took to Twitter to confirm that they will be pushing through with a full-length sequel to “Frozen.”

Buck admits that the pressure for “Frozen 2” to surpass the success of the original film let alone match it.

However, with the whole team, cast, and crew from the original film back to work for the sequel, he is confident that the sequel will touch the hearts of audience the way the first movie did.

  1. I’m happy that Anna and Kristoff are Getting Married in the second movie but I would love to see Jack Frost (From DreamWorks Rise of the Guardians) as Elsa love interest for the sequel to become boyfriend and Girlfriend imagine what Jelsa Fans from Around the world would love to see it with hard Cold Cash think about it.

  2. If you make Elsa a lesbian, maybe they should go all the way and make her sister her love interest.
