With claims that “Frozen 2” is not coming out until 2018, this gives Disney a lot of time to figure out what they want to do with the different characters, and how they want to handle the story moving forward.
The studio has been quite secretive, as can be expected, and they haven’t made any comments on the situation so far. We are not sure that they will say anything either, as they are known for keeping their work under wraps until they are ready to reveal something major to the world.
There have been rumors about a musical possibly coming out in 2016, but recently it’s been stated that this is actually not very likely to happen, and the production will have to be pushed back for some reason.
With all that in mind, 2016 could be a very uneventful year for fans of “Frozen” who had been hoping for a sequel, or any kind of information about the new film at all, and we might have to wait a little longer before we get anything official about the film. Until then, fan discussions are still a good source of entertainment as people love to guess about what could happen in an upcoming work by Disney.
