Josh Gad, the voice actor for Olaf, said that it would be exciting for his character if that would be the direction of “Frozen 2” but he says he is not privy as to where the storyline would lead them to, notes Movie News Guide.
One of the reasons why up until today many still remember “Frozen” as the most successful animated film in history is because of its chart-topping song “Let It Go” from its excellent soundtrack.
Reports have it that the sequel shall also focus on having the same in order for it to have a strong memory recall just like the original film.
It was actually film critic Robbie Collin who alluded to the possibility when he was quoted in a recent interview that sisters Queen Elsa and Princess Anna will sing a duet about being stronger together while they are being kept separate by some villain or evil force.
Collin also expects the song would take a verse and line about their situation and then come together for a big, soaring chorus.
It seems that Collin’s theory has a good leg to stand on since Disney is also big on movie soundtrack and songs which is why “Let It Go,” sang by Idina Menzel, is still being crooned by both kids and adults alike, more than two years after the showing of “Frozen.”
Actually, like so many other ridiculous fan ideas out there regarding Frozen 2 (namely the Rapunzel/Elsa theory), this one also happens to be ENTIRELY false and you are frankly pretty irresponsible for endorsing such a preposterous notion. Use some common sense, for GOD’S SAKE. Anna and Elsa are sisters by blood. There’s NO speculation there. There’s NO other option. There’s NO canon information that even SUGGESTS otherwise—that even ALLUDES to other possible relationships. You can’t even begin to THINK that it’s possible. RAPUNZEL IS RELATED TO NEITHER ELSA NOR ANNA. Anna and Elsa DO NOT have any canon living relatives, as you are well aware. Was this not obvious enough in the movie? Evidently not… This “theory” you’ve adopted was born from the logic-ignoring minds of the Film Theorists, who apparently come up with “creative” or “interesting” ideas based on popular movies that ARE NOT intended to be taken seriously. Unfortunately, the unhinged, underdeveloped minds of rabid Frozen/Tangled worshippers across the globe have come to a point where they ACTUALLY BELIEVE these three characters may have some sort of legit familial connection, WHICH THEY DO NOT. NOTHING WAS EVER CONFIRMED OR SUGGESTED BY THE MOVIE CREATORS THAT THEY ARE RELATED IN ANY WAY. EVER. And to think that Frozen 2 will have something to do with Tangled? Well, it really can’t get any sadder, any less intelligent than that, can it? This is what I read: “OMFG ELSA AND REPUNZAL R SISTRS AND ANA ISNT ELSA SISTR CUZ I JST FOUND THUS THEERY IN THA INTERNAT (also it’s not confirmed yet but) OMFG ANA AND ELSA ARNT RALETED!!!!!” Nice job.
