Fans of the Frozen entity are waiting intently for the next installment to the series, title Frozen 2. We are yet to receive an official word confirming the title. Hence, we will have to stick to what the rumor mills have on offer, for the moment. Disney is rumored to have registered numerous names, although, we are not sure what they have up their sleeve.
According to a popular rumor, Disney has registered various titles and domains under the name Strange Magic, which hints at the online revelation for Frozen 2 soon. Fans believe that Strange Magic is likely to be the subtitle for the upcoming installment. The possible subtitle is likely to have been inspired from two renowned animated characters – Duke of Weselton and Grand Pabbie – as both of them have been recorded uttering the phrase.
Disney, however, has remained tightlipped about the sequel so far. Even though the fans might be disappointed a bit, Disney is unlikely to reveal much about the project at the moment, as they are currently busy with Frozen Fever, which is expected to go live in 2015. Writer and Co-Director Jennifer Lee, is currently busy with A Wrinkle in Time, Disney’s upcoming title, although, we are not sure about its release date at the moment too.
Frozen was critically acclaimed back in 2013 and went ahead to draw the attention and praise from all quarter of the society. People loved the musical drama, and the makers are hoping to cash in on its success on the upcoming titles too. References to Frozen have been made numerous times in different TV Series as well, hoping to draw in general appreciation from the crowd, and it seems to have worked too!
Frozen was a grand success, earning over $1.2 Billion in just a matter of weeks. A sequel is most awaited, and so is a short film Frozen Fever. However, the makers are not all in for money. Hence, a lot is expected from Frozen 2 at the moment. Most movie series tend to lose the charm right after the first installment. However, considering the fact that we are referring to Disney here, they might get things right the second time too! After all, they are experienced in the art of movie making.
The original cast is set to return for the second installment, with a few exceptions, even though the complete list of stars is yet to reach us. We will get back to you with the updates as soon as the production house or any of the stars make a formal announcement regarding the Frozen 2.
