All in all, it looks like the game’s developers have found their way back to the right track after “Forza Motorsport 5”, and are about to release something spectacular to the market. It’s worth noting that the brief lack of success with the previous game could be explained by external factors to some extent.
It’s possible that the studio had a difficult time working with the new hardware of the Xbox One, and it’s definitely not the first time a launch title has suffered from lack of experience with the new platform.
Hopefully that was just a one-time setback, and the next installment in the series is going to be just as good as “Forza Motorsport 4”, if not even better. The studio has shown time and time again that they know what their fans want, and they definitely have the capability to deliver that to the market.
So all they need to do now is properly polish the game and push it out once it’s ready to be shown to the world. One of the good things about the situation is that they won’t even have to do a lot of marketing for it. It’s already one of the biggest names in racing simulators, and even the mediocre performance of the fifth installment doesn’t seem to have shaken up people’s overall trust in the franchise.
