People who are not that familiar with the world of fashion and modelling might not have heard the name of the famous Russian model, Irina Shayk. The model who rose to international fame after becoming the exclusive face of Intimissimi lingerie line is one of the most popularly accredited models.
There have been several connections made between Irina and the captain of the Portugal football team, Cristiano Ronaldo. While their relationship has not been the best in the road, looks like Ronaldo definitely doesn’t want to replace his former beau yet.
Speculations and rumours have been floating around about Ronaldo’s newest fling with Victoria’s secret model Kristina Peric and if words are to be believed, she looks a lot her Shayk. The 20 year old when asked about how she met the Real Madrid forward, she said that a make-up artist hooked them up who thought Peric looked a lot like Shayk.
The five year relationship between Irina and Cristiano definitely saw a rough patch until it became to hard to handle and they called quits. The model when asked about the “break-up” repeatedly mentioned how the “flirty” nature of Ronaldo was not something she was comfortable with. Shayk, who is currently dating Bradley Cooper, expressed how much betrayed and heart-broken she felt after the split.
In other news, the 20-year old Irina look alike has just “met and formed an instant bond” with the Real Madrid forward. Will there be any other blossoming romance later in the lines? Well, we still don’t know that.
The Victoria’s secret model described how the make-up artist introduced her to Cristiano and claimed that they would definitely hit it off because she looks an awful lot like Irina. But if the “couple” will hit it off just because one looks alike like the former flame is still a question that needs an answer.
And it looks like a new relationship is not something the Real Madrid forward is looking for at the moment. The footballer was noticed liking a few of Irina’s pictures on Instagram and the internet lost its chill. The fans started hash tags and trends requesting the former couple to just get back together already.
Irina has been in a long distance relationship with the famous Hollywood movie star Bradley Cooper since a year and they are definitely making it word in spite of the distance. The couple were spotted spending the summer together but had to walk their separate roads in the autumn due to their work schedule.
While the Russian model has not been very vocal or open about her and Cooper’s relationship out in public, it does look like they want to enjoy the privacy. Irina had earlier posted pictures with other men in the fashion industry like that with Givenchy Artistic Director and even captioned it with “date night”. But there has been no such cute “coupley” public display of affection between the actor and the model.
Shayk is currently very busy with her commitments with her appearance in the lingerie line that she promotes along with several other fashion weeks across the world. Bradley on the other hand has been very busy with his upcoming ventures; A Star is born being the most important one.
