Teen Wolf Season 5 is set to come back to your television set by the middle to end of summer of next year and this week the title of the first episode was finally revealed online. According to the creator of the show, the first episode is going to be titled “Creatures of the Night”. That title could also change before the show starts back up, but at least fans got a little something about the show they love. This information was posted by Jeff Davis through his official Instagram account and was confirmed by another online source.
The first episode of season 5’s title is not really full of the information that you would have hoped it would have included. It is vague and if you watch the show you know that it does not really lead you anywhere based on how the show ended last season. It could be assumed that the title is referring to the werewolves, werecoyotes and banshees just to get started. At the same time, could the title also have something to do with a new character or “creature” of the night?
Since the filming is just about to begin for the upcoming season, there is still plenty of time for Davis to reveal more about the show. According to one source, the next season will have 20 episodes and it will be split into two parts, which seems to be the normal thing to do with 60 minute series type shows. In the past, seasons that were split up followed two different story lines, but this time around that will not be the case.
All of season 5 will be one story line and it should pick up right where it left off. The Teen Wolf crew was headed back to Mexico to fight against Kate and Peter. Peter got locked up, Scott has control of his pack and Derek can shift into a wolf. Even though the information about season 5 is not that frequent, the speculation here is that we will be learning more about Malia’s mother and a little more about the situation with Deputy Parrish.
