First Teaser for Mission: Impossible 5 Is Out, See a Preview of the Explosive Action, And More News

The long wait is nearing a conclusion, as “Mission: Impossible 5” is soon going to be out on the big screen – and its producers are certainly making sure that everyone is well aware of that. While we’ve had plenty of rumors from the film’s production set over the last few months, actual confirmed information was scarce. Now, we just got the first official trailer for the upcoming sequel to one of the most famous action franchises, and it looks like it’s going to blow us away by quite a lot.

In the new trailer, we can see Tom Cruise holding on to an airplane tightly, trying to not let go as the plane takes off, and continues the trend of testing viewers who are afraid of heights. In addition, we’ve been given the official full release title for the new film – it will apparently be called “Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation”. We’ve also heard reports that this name wasn’t actually that easy to push through, as there was some opposition to the idea internally, but in the end the producers managed to get everyone on board.

The problem about the name – and the reason some people on the team were reluctant to go with it – apparently lies in the fact that Disney will be releasing a spinoff to “Star Wars” called “Rogue One”, and there were worries that there might be an overlap between the two titles. However, the name for the new “Mission: Impossible” was apparently registered two months before Disney announced their own title, so in case there are any legal conflicts, Paramount should have a pretty solid case for their use of the name in “Mission: Impossible”.

There are actually rumors that the two studios have reached a compromise, and Disney have agreed to not start any lawsuits over the name, allowing Paramount to use the title for their new film and market it freely.

Other than the breathtaking airplane take-off scene, we also got to see motorcycle action, conspiracies about a mysterious shady organization – appropriately named “The Syndicate” – and some seriously good acting all around. It’s starting to seem like the new “Mission: Impossible” is not just going to be a good action movie, it could be the best entry in the franchise so far, and it looks like it’s really going to push everything to the limit.

Hopefully, Tom Cruise and everyone else know what the fans of this franchise are looking for, and still know how to deliver it in the best quality imaginable. We’ll find out in a few months when the film hits the screen – which is actually going to be sooner than the initially planned date, recent reports revealed.
