It’s actually commendable that the studio has managed to keep so much about the game a secret until now, given the amounts of attention they’ve been getting from their fans.
Hopefully they don’t unexpectedly suffer a leak right towards the end, as it would be a shame to see the potential of this game ruined by something so selfish. It’s happened before with other games, and while it doesn’t have to be a death sentence, it’s still a negative development.
Fans of the series are going to have a great holiday season if this release turns out to be a good one though, that’s for sure. With the sheer number of things to do and explore in “Final Fantasy XV”, it should keep its fans glued to the screen for days on end.
And with a little more effort from Square Enix after the launch – in the form of post-release content and support – the game is sure to live on for a long time without any problems. The active community which is known for constantly engaging in discussions about the lore, story and setting of the series, is sure to contribute to its success to a great extent. And on the other hand, Square Enix know exactly how to work with their fans to achieve that.
