Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward Has Its Merits, but Problems Too!

There have also been some positive comments regarding the way the new content is structured with respect to the older areas of the game. The fact that players now have to go back to older locations in order to activate new quests has actually been praised by some critics, as they see it as a good way to repurpose the game’s older content.

It might be an annoying experience for some who’ve already seen those locations and explored them in detail, sure, but those players are probably not in a majority in the game’s community.

All in all, Square Enix have been doing a fine job with the ongoing maintenance of the title and we’re excited to see what else the studio could be planning for the franchise in the future.

There are many possible directions for them to take the game in, but lately it looks like they have been moving towards a deeper, more thorough game that offers players many different choices for how they want to progress. This is something that the game’s community have been requesting for a while too, so it looks like the studio has been listening and paying attention to the various comments on their discussion boards.
