So far, it seems that the PS4 Slim Luna Edition will be released only in Japan, although Square and Sony both have yet to comment on the truthfulness of the this rumour. North American gamers who already own a PS4 or Xbox One console have the option of purchasing the title’s Collector’s Edition.
What remains to be seen is, how much effective the Slim PS4 Luna Edition will be at boosting sales of Final Fantasy 15 in a market, in Japan that is essentially console averse. How much is riding on the success of Final Fantasy 15 for Square Enix is very clear from their aggressive decision.
Even though, the game received much criticism from fans for a delay. We must also consider the fact that the Slim Luna Edition would not have happened without the delay. Let’s hope that after its release in November, the special edition provides Japanese Gamers with a reason to smile.
To get answers about the games further details and how it turned out we will have to be patient till this elegant looking title, latched with its additional edition hits the shelves on the market for PS4 and Xbox One, this November. Stay tuned for more updates.
