It may be okay for some celebrity wives not to be jealous of their actor-husbands whenever they are at work and being paired with various actresses but Amelia Warner, the wife of British actor Jamie Dornan, certainly felt uncomfortable with her husband filming with American actress Dakota Johnson the next two sequels of “Fifty Shades of Grey.”
As erotic romance films based on the books of author E.L. James, Warner has every right to be paranoid or protective of her husband since both “Fifty Shades Darker” and “Fifty Shades Freed” really have plenty of intimate scenes between Jamie and Dakota.
And they are not just intimate scenes that the two are into, they are mostly sex scenes showcasing BDSM. Amelia was obviously worried that the two actors might get carried away with the extra intimacy and the sex scenes which was the reason why she was mostly on the set while the filming of the movie was ongoing.
Another possible reason that Amelia sees, like most of the fans of “Fifty Shades of Grey,” is the fact that Jamie and Dakota exude perfect on-cam chemistry, which was more than enough to give her sleepless nights.
Throw in the rumors that something was reportedly going on between Jamie and Dakota behind the cameras so it prompted her to be in the set just to make sure that her husband does not forget that he is married to her.
In fact, Amelia was even present during the honeymoon scenes of Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson, which was mostly made up of intimate scenes, reports the Parent Herald.
Getting paranoid
Reports about Amelia Warner getting really paranoid and jealous over Dakota Johnson while filming “Fifty Shades Darker” was also noted when she moved her family to Canada and then later to France just to make sure that she keeps a close eye on her husband.
There were rumors previously saying that Jamie Dornan agreed to do a frontal nudity for “Fifty Shades Darker” and “Fifty Shades Freed” and that, he was even offered by the producers a good amount of money if he agrees. But it is not clear if the actor decided in favor or against the proposal.
Now that filming for the two sequels is over, Amelia can heave a sigh of relief and somehow ease her paranoia considering that the only time that Jamie and Dakota would meet again is during the film promotions to start in the next couple of weeks. “Fifty Shades Darker” shall hit global theaters on February 10 next year.
But by then, Jamie and Dakota can no longer be intimate with one another plus the fact that they are much dressed to the nines, unlike in the film where they shared steamy moments together with hardly any clothes on.
Much more risqué than the first film
“Fifty Shades Darker” is said to be much more risqué compared to the first film in terms of the intimate sex scenes between the two lead stars.
In fact, rumors are rife that that Jamie Dornan has gone the full monty during the filming which the actor neither confirmed nor denied during a recent interview.
Some critics are saying that it is one safe way of ensuring that no spoiler on the movie gets out or the actor is also very protective of the feelings of his wife over the matter.
Reports have it that because of what was seen in the first movie and the next two, Jamie Dornan has advised his wife to not just watch the films so as to shield her from whatever emotions she might feel afterward, reports iTech Post.
But Dornan said that he had fun doing the three movies and said that he is going to miss his friends and co-stars for the film trilogy.
Based on reports, “Fifty Shades Darker” shall see a role reversal between Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele because Christian shall become Ana’s submissive.
It would be very interesting how the role reversal would happen but it is certainly something to look forward to as far as viewers and fans are concerned.
It could be recalled that when Christian introduced Ana to his world of BDSM, she had a difficulty adjusting to it because it was both painful and stressful. But since she fell in love with Christian, and BDSM was already part of him, she decided to just go for the ride.
