Production for “Fifty Shades Darker” and “Fifty Shades Freed” is now running at a prompt pace and latest photos on set show that key cast members are making good progress with the completion of the two films.
E.L. James, the author of the trilogy, keeps the fans updated through her Instagram account. Recently, James posted a photo of another scene which could be one of the possible plots of the final installment.
In the photo, a slice of cake is seen and the author captioned it “Fifty Shades Freed” which gave fans the idea that the cast members are now filming the wedding scene of Dakota Johnson’s Anastasia Steele and Jamie Dornan’s Christian Grey.
For those who have read the novels, Christian finally proposes to Ana by the end of the second book but the details of their wedding were narrated in the third book.
It was earlier revealed that the last two films will be filmed back-to-back and will be both directed by James Foley. Principal photography for both films commenced in February in Paris and Vancouver.
Reports claim that most of the landmark scenes in the trilogy have been filmed already including the much-awaited engagement scene when the lead stars were spotted on a yacht in Vancouver.
Another highly-anticipated scene in the upcoming film is the plane crash in which James and Foley confirmed that filming has been finished already.
Rita Ora, who plays Mia Grey, has been spotted filming in Vancouver, Canada. Last week, the singer was spotted wearing workout clothes while filming some scenes with co-stars Dakota Johnson and Eric Johnson.
The 25-year-old singer wore a track jacket, sports bra, and sported her sleek blond hair. Dakota meanwhile donned a hoodie, t-shirt, and jeans.
The British singer plays Christian Grey’s younger sister. Ora recently told Billboard that she will have more screen time in the sequel and in the third movie.
She adds that she’s excited for her role to expand especially since she’s read the “Fifty Shades” trilogy and really loved the whole story. The blonde beauty says that she’s very happy to be part of the franchise.
Ora was then spotted on the set earlier this week on a private property filming some scenes with Eric Johnson, who portrays Jack Hyde. She was also seen chatting off cam with film director James Foley.
News Everyday reports that after filming, Ora then flew back to LA, heading straight to The Nice Guy restaurant where the “Black Widow” songstress met up with Drake and Hailey Baldwin for dinner.
Later that night, the “Poison” singer was also spotted at Warwick nightclub hanging around with Justin Bieber. TMZ reports that the pair left the club at two in the morning.
“Fifty Shades Darker” will lay an incredible emphasis on the tough and struggling relationship between Ana and Christian.
Many people will now be involved in trying to bring them back together after the events of the first film.
Fans know that the final scene of “Fifty Shades of Grey” ended with Ana leaving Christian because she cannot accept that he’s a sadist and that he cannot change for her.
Most of the cast and crew from the first film have returned to reprise their roles for the sequels while Tyler Hoechlin and Hugh Dancy join the cast as Boyce Fox and Dr. John Flynn, respectively.
The addition of Christian’s crazy ex-girlfriend Leila Williams, played by Bella Heathcote, and Grey’s former dominant Elena Lincoln, played by Kim Basinger, will bring more excitement in the story.
Eric Johnson’s Jack Hyde will also make matters worse for Christian and Ana, especially in the last film.
