Ferrari has unveiled at the event its 488 GTB sports car and with its signature blazing red color and dynamic exterior stylings, it sure is a knockout just by its mere looks alone.
The Ferrari 488 GTB is even more impressive when it comes to what it has under its hood. While it is a marked improvement from the Ferrari 458, the 488 GTB now exudes a naturally-aspirated engine soundtrack with its new 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine.
This was a crucial downsize from the Ferrari 458 which featured the 4.5-liter V8 engine. Its engine may be smaller for the 488 GTB but the power remains practically the same. Ferrari explained that the 488 in the car’s name represents the engine’s unitary displacement while GTB means Gran Turismo Berlinetta, which goes a long way back in the rich Ferrari history.
