For now though, fans should just focus on what’s coming up in season 3. It sounds like the producers want to throw some serious character development in the mix, and some of the characters are going to see a lot of growth during the new season.
This could include bringing some of the less developed characters to the forefront, something which could definitely be in this show’s benefit right now. Its cast is not poor in characters by any means, but some of them seem a bit too one-sided in the eyes of some fans.
That can also be explained by the show’s early age though, as it’s not unusual for even more successful productions to start off relatively slowly in their first couple of seasons. Season 3 could be where “Fear the Walking Dead” truly gets to shine with its characters and setting.
With all the rumors we’ve been hearing about the upcoming new season, this definitely sounds like a possibility. We’re as curious as the show’s fans themselves to see what the producers have prepared, and hopefully we’re about to see this show truly take off after season 3. It’s not an exaggeration to say that it’s one of the few shows on air right now that truly deserve this, and it all depends on how much effort the producers are going to put into the next season.
