While many fans love Statham’s Deckard Shaw getting revenge for his brother’s death, it will be interesting how a film could actually pull off a femme fatale for an antagonist.
Crossmap reports that producers have tapped the 40-year-old actress to play the villain in the upcoming film but despite persistent rumors, the “Mad Max: Fury Road” star remains tight-lipped.
Aside from “The Hunstman: Winter’s War” actress, rumors are swirling around that Helen Mirren had been cast in a role of a second antagonist possibly as Theron’s sidekick. “Orange is the New Black” Season 3 breakout star Ruby Rose reportedly joined the cast as well.
Christian Today reports that singer Justin Bieber has also been tapped to be involved in the movie. The website notes that Bieber’s role will be pivotal in the upcoming film.
There are also rumors that O’Conner might reappear in the film and that producers are going to use Paul’s brothers, specifically Cody, again to make his character come alive again.
Parent Herald noted that “Fast & Furious 7” was not the finale for O’Conner since the cast and crew wanted to bring his legacy in the final trilogy.
NBC Universal Vice Chairman Ron Meyer has long stated that Paul Walker’s memory will be honored in the final trilogy which slightly confirms that O’Conner’s presence will still be on the last leg of the franchise.
