With so much people focusing their attention on them, it’s inevitable that everything they say will be analyzed with a lot of scrutiny, and fans will look at those statements word by word, discovering details that just aren’t there.
It’s happened multiple times before with other popular productions, and the people behind “Fast and Furious 8” are probably painfully aware of the unpleasant sides of fan attention.
With that in mind, we expect nothing short of a controlled marketing campaign for the film, one that reveals everything in installments exactly according to the producers’ plans. This doesn’t mean that information will be scarce, of course – quite on the contrary, we will probably get some good glimpses into what the film will have to offer sooner or later.
Until then, fans should probably take it easier on the speculation, as this can’t really bring them anything good right now, given how little information we actually have.
