The series was due for some touch-ups anyway, as some fans were reportedly getting a bit bored with the premise around the sixth part.
Things changed fast with the filming of “Fast and Furious 7” though, and despite the tragic accident, the crew still managed to pull everything together in a way that pleased fans. Recently, we’ve been hearing some interesting reports about the upcoming eight installment in the franchise, particularly about new additions to the cast.
