Last month, a feud between Diesel and Johnson broke out with the latter calling out one of his co-stars for not being man enough and being weaker than the females they have on set. It was later revealed that he was pertaining to Diesel.
The feud was immediately resolved with the former WWE wrestler saying that it is normal for friends to clash with their ideas, but what matters is that at the end of the day, they remain a family.
Filming began in March in Iceland while in April filming has moved to Cuba making it one of the first Hollywood films to shoot in the country after a long time.
Shooting locations also include Cleveland, Atlanta, and New York. This further fuel reports that the action in the new film will be taken in New York, something that Diesel has responded positively but not confirmed.
Last month, the movie’s Facebook page shared a photo of the whole cast thanking everyone for the love and support they have given the franchise.
They also promised that a trailer for the film will be released by December. Filming is expected to conclude before the year ends in time for its premiere next year.
