“Fast and Furious 8” is looked upon very strongly by some fans of the franchise, and people are happy to see that the films are moving forward despite the tragic event that came in the middle of the production of the last film. When Paul Walker passed away, many people were left wondering if they were going to get new films, or if that was the end of the story.
But the people behind this production – particularly Vin Diesel – don’t seem to have the intention of giving up anytime soon, and there have been various reports about the production of “Fast and Furious 8” that have painted it in a very positive light. So far, many people are expecting great things from the new film, and while there have been some slightly controversial reports along with the more positive ones, the overall picture is shaping up very nicely.
Mia Toretto is possibly coming back, among the various things that have been said for the new film – Jordana Brewster recently reported that she’s open to the idea of reprising her role but at the same time she doesn’t want the producers to rush things and make the film look poorly thought out, because introducing a character that feels out of place, just for the sake of having him/her there, is always a bad idea. Especially in a franchise as popular as “Fast and Furious”, and Vin Diesel and the rest of the team definitely know how to handle things and that the next production is going to be critical.
That’s because, according to some reports, fans are going to have a slightly more different look towards this installment and they will see it in a new light. The situation has changed a bit now, and there is a noticeable shift in perception towards the franchise both in the media as well as across fans, so it would be interesting to see how the next film is going to play out.
In any case, the hype about it is undeniable, and it looks like it’s not going to take too much effort for Vin Diesel to come up with something interesting that pleases fans and pushes the franchise forward. The latter part is important right now, if not critical – after seven installments, fans of “Fast and Furious” want to see something more interesting in the future, and they aren’t going to be pleased with yet another entry in the series that doesn’t expand on any interesting parts of the plot.
There have been reports that Cody Walker is not going to take part in the next film either, so that will additionally complicate things for the producers and make it important for them to consider their moves carefully. Obviously, they still have a lot of room for deciding how they want to approach this production in terms of cast and plot development, but fans will want to see an interesting combination of characters in any case.
There have also been some minor rumors about various actors taking part in the new film, including some rather outrageous ones which are definitely false, and in general it looks like fans of the franchise have been very active in discussing what – and who – they want to see in “Fast and Furious 8”, and what their wishes for the film are exactly. It’s interesting to note that there is a fine balance that the producers have to observe here, however.
