It’s of course unreasonable to expect the franchise to keep doing better and better with each installment, and it doesn’t really have to. As long as the producers maintain the current level of quality in their work, and a responsible attitude towards communicating with their fans, everyone should be happy with the final result.
There’s still plenty of time to go before we see “Fast and Furious 8”, and considering how much we’ve already heard from the various people involved with the project, we expect them to communicate even more with their fans in the coming months.
January and February should be particularly exciting for those who want to get some news about “Fast and Furious 8”. Vin Diesel has shown that he is more than happy to share certain details about the current state of the team’s work, so he will probably be quite open as the release date approaches.
For now, there have been no rumors of delays, so if everything goes according to plan, we expect to see the film in April 2017. And on the contrary, if something does go wrong, Vin Diesel and the rest of the people behind the production will likely not wait too long to let their fans know. As we pointed out above, they seem to be pretty clear on the idea that communication with their audience is critical, especially for a release as major as this.
