It seems like Bethesda is prepared to remain silent regarding whether Fallout 4 is destined to release on 2015. Presently, the lack of any official statement regarding this possibly upcoming title is no longer surprising the world gamers.
Rumors about this title have long surfaced the internet, yet Bethesda is keeping mum regarding its development or possible release in the near future. However, at the moment, every Fallout fanboy around the world is convinced that the developers ARE working on this title, preparing for a release soon.
It could be true in which case it looks like the developers are gearing up for the last possible moment to announce any information regarding this title. In any account, Fallout 4 should hit game store shelves around the world before or during the fall of 2016. In 2008, Bethesda released Fallout 3 which received great reviews and built up a strong following of players. They followed up with a new title, two years later, called Fallout: New Vegas, which also became quite popular.
Keep in mind that this particular installment was not the main title in the Fallout franchise. As a result, six years have passed since a main title was released for world gamers. The fans are now appealing for a new title, and their patience is quickly fading. All we can hope is that Bethesda doesn’t do a Valve here and decide to keep waiting while the present Fallout fans experience their mid-life crisis. In any account, the lack of an official declaration is rather frustrating for fans all around the world.
All we know is that when the game arrives it will be available for the PC and the present generation PS4 and Xbox One consoles. At the same time, Fallout fans shouldn’t be expecting too much as the game could end up as a disappointment considering its technical aspects. Bethesda created Fallout 3, a title that was based on the same game engine as that of Elder Scrolls Oblivion. The latter is an older title and Bethesda improved on the engine solely for the release of Fallout 3.
If this disappointing trend continues, Fallout 4 could be featured on the same engine as Skyrim with some enhancements. The game’s graphics should be enhanced, and all mechanisms optimized, but running on an older engine will not make it suitable for the next-generation gaming hardware.
People may request Bethesda to introduce a newer engine for Fallout 4, but that doesn’t currently seem to be happening at all. On a happier note, if Fallout 4 is compatible with the older engines, it will be easier to launch the game on many different platforms.
