‘Fallout 4’ PS4 Pro Patch Delayed Anew But Bethesda Makes Up for it by Releasing Patch 1.02 for ‘Skyrim Remaster’ to Improve Game’s Performance and Stability

Bethesda has just announced that the PS4 Pro patch for its post-apocalyptic role-playing game “Fallout 4” has been delayed anew and the publisher explained that it is still working on the game’s mod support on the latest variant of the PlayStation 4 gaming console.

PS4 Pro fans have been waiting for the patch that would enable them to enjoy “Fallout 4” the same way that gamers on the PS4, the Xbox One, and the PC are enjoying them currently but they have to wait a bit longer.

Bethesda has not given an exact date on the release date of the PS4 Pro patch for “Fallout 4.”

In order to sort of makeup for its shortcoming on the PS4 Pro patch, Bethesda announced that it has completed the release of Patch 1.02 this week for “Skyrim Remaster” and now covers the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4, and the PC, notes Game & Guide.

Patch 1.02 for “Skyrim Remaster,” which is the short term for “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Remastered,” was initially released for the PlayStation 4 and the PC.

The patch brings general improvements on both performance and stability of “Skyrim Remaster” on the gaming consoles and the PC.

It also came with some fixes that solve issues related to water flow not rendering properly.

A VR version in progress

There are also reports saying that while PS4 Pro gamers are waiting for the “Fallout 4” patch, other gamers using other gaming platforms are now getting excited on the reports that a virtual reality (VR) version of the game is now in the works.

The reports actually came from Todd Howard of Bethesda, who stated recently that the game development company is trying the VR thing now and is looking forward to where it will lead them.

While Howard did not say exactly that Bethesda is trying the game on “Fallout 4,” critics believe that Bethesda could really raise the level of VR excitement if they use the post-apocalyptic role-playing game as their guinea pig for the new technology.

In fact, the same reports on the development of “Fallout 4 VR” has resulted to Bethesda Studios further pushing in the backburner the development to the highly-anticipated role-playing game “The Elder Scrolls 6.”

Great deals on Amazon UK

“Fallout 4” and another major title are getting a major discount at Amazon UK, which could be a ripple effect of the Black Friday sales in the US on November 25.

Bethesda’s “Fallout 4” is now for sale for only £10.00 on PC, and “Titanfall 2” is being retailed for £28.98 on the PC with free delivery in the UK, details MS Power User.

“Fallout 4” is regarded as the most ambitious game ever and also usher the next generation of open-world gaming.

The site describes “Titanfall 2” as a highly-anticipated game that delivers fast-paced action brimming with inventive twists both on its single-player campaign and on its multiplayer mode.

Late in September, there were reports saying that Bethesda Studios has abandoned the development of the PlayStation 4 mods for “Fallout 4.”

Apparently, that was not true because as it turned out, the game developer just wanted to buy time for the development of the “Fallout 4” PS4 mods. That’s in addition to the fact that it also wanted to make sure that the mods do not just come out on the Sony gaming console but also on the Xbox One and the PC.

PS4 mods will enable gamers to modify and create their own content by using the Creation Kit that was made available.

It was Bethesda vice president for public relations and marketing Pete Hines who confirmed recently that the studio is now working to have mods work the same on all platforms.
