While the update, officially called as the Patch 1.5 brought forth excellent changes to the award-winning game as well as bug fixes, gameplay enhancements, and support for “Fallout 4” mods, it also brought out several problems.
There are a number of issues plaguing Patch 1.5 users, especially PC gamers, and critics believed then that the same problems will carry over to the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 when it comes out to the gaming consoles. They were right.
Among the problems that hounded Patch 1.5 of “Fallout 4” include issues with official “Fallout 4” modes, a targeting bug, crashing, inability to open the game, power armor vanishing for no apparent reason, various issues with the Survival Mode, a crafting station bug, broken foliage, and other texture issues, and several more.
It seems however that crashes are the most common issue among PC gamers of “Fallout 4.” The Patch 1.5 also did not seem to fix the issues with “Automatron” and “Wasteland Workshop” DLCs, the first two new contents of the game since it was released in November last year.
Critics wonder why the Patch 1.5 caused a lot of problems when in fact Bethesda Studios released a beta of the update before finalizing a full version.
In addition to the release of the Patch 1.5 last month, game developer Bethesda Studios also released the game’s third DLC titled “Far Harbor” which changed the game completely because of the huge content it brought.
