Fallout 4: Bethesda Denies All the Rumours, Fans Expect Bethesda to Announce the Release Date at The Game Award!

With Bethesda making no official announcement about Fallout 4, it has become the centre point for hoax and rumours. Fallout 4 is the current hot-topic for discussions on the internet. Articles are being written about the speculated release dates as well as the plot. The authenticity of these articles came into question when Bethesda denied the rumours.

Bethesda, the developers of Fallout 4, has repeatedly told the fans not to trust any news sources regarding Fallout 4, other than the official report. However, Peter Hines, the Vice President of Bethesda, made very vague statements, soon after which the rumour mills started operations.

Fallout is a post-apocalypse action game. The game is based on the popular science fiction episodes from the 1950s. The game is set in the 22nd and 23rd centuries and features a world based on the dystopian post-apocalyptic reality. The primary inspiration for the graphic artists and game designers of Fallout was the post-war culture of the 1950s, in America.

Fallout 3 released back in 2008 and ever since then, the fans have been waiting intently for the next installment in the series. Bethesda however has been completely mum about it. Todd Howard, the game director of Bethesda Softworks had said on February that there are no official dates yet and they are not sure when Fallout 4 will release.

In spite of Hines and Howard constantly going online to put an end to the numerous rumours, articles on release dates, plot and rumored consoles keep popping up. There were a series of rumours on how Fallout 4 is based in Boston and how patents have been filed in Germany. The rumours regarding the patents have finally caused Bethesda to break its silence and call all the rumours false.

Three console developers – Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony – have come together to support a new game show called The Game Award. It will premiere on 5th December. The game show will feature video games, reviews, launches and e-sports. Official word is that VGX host Geoff Keighley will be hosting the show.

The news of the show has excited fans, but fans of the Fallout series suddenly have a new reason to speculate. Geoff Keighley recently tweeted a photo of himself with the sales and marketing team from Bethesda Softworks. Bethesda has previously used VGX to announce its new titles, the most renowned of which is The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
