Extended Clip of Trailer Further Gives Glimpse to Indominus Rex, the Main Attraction and Scare of ‘Jurassic World’

Less than 10 days to go before “Jurassic World” hit theaters worldwide, the extended clip of the latest trailer of the movie has further gave a glimpse of the Indominus Rex, the genetically-engineered dinosaur which is to be the theme park’s main attraction.

In addition to lifting park attendance, the Indominus Rex, as practically everyone knows by now, will be the movie’s main scare too, especially when things go haywire again in the park, which was what happened before in Isla Nubar during the first “Jurassic Park” movie.

In the extended clip, Bryce Dallas Howard, who plays park operations manager Claire Dearing, is shown with park owner Simon Masrani, played by Irrhan Khan as they preview Jurassic World’s latest attraction.

Howard asks Masrani if the Indominus Rex would likely scare the children, to which the wide-eyed park owner said that the owner will not just scare the kids, it will also give their parents nighmares, details Melty.

Chris Pratt also hinted of the plot of the movie when he was quoted recently in an interview saying that when people create an animal for their own amusement, it definitely does not go well for the humans.

“Jurassic World” would premiere on worldwide theaters on June 12 and this early, it is expected to stomp its way to box-office success the way the past “Jurassic Park” movies have done more than 10 years ago.

New cast of characters

While there have been hints previously that there might be some cameos from actors who were once part of the first three “Jurassic Park” movies, “Jurassic World” will actually feature all-new cast of characters when it debuts to theaters next week.

The critically-acclaimed Steven Spielberg, who directed the first two “Jurassic Park” movies in the 90s, will return to the fourth film in the franchise not as a director but as executive producer. Colin Trevorrow has taken over the directing job of the epic action-adventure movie that stars Chris Pratt of Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” fame.

Joining Pratt in the latest of the dinosaur film are Bryce Dallas Howard, Judy Greer, Ty Simpkins and Jake Johnson. “Jurassic World” happens to be Trevorrow’s first ever major franchise in his directing career.

Sequels in the works already

Even before “Jurassic World” hits the theaters, there’s already good news straight from the production team of the fourth film of the dinosaur movie franchise.

Apparently, plans are now in the works for the development of the “Jurassic World” sequel because the movie has been slated to become a trilogy in the first place.

Unlike the haphazard development of the “Jurassic Park” sequels which was due to the film’s immense blockbuster success, the production team is not leaving anything to chance this time around in the development of the “Jurassic World” sequels.
