Expendables 4 Ready To Go, Fifth Planned, Television Series Possible!

Have you been one of the millions that are impressed with how well the Expendables movie franchise has been doing? The series is about to start filming for the fourth installment very shortly and is expected to arrive sometime this year, but that is not really the newsworthy information compared to recent reports. According to those reports, the Expendables will be adding a fifth installment to the series and the possibility that the Expendables could arrive on a television series near you.

Over the last few months, there have been plenty of rumors about the new movie, but only a few of them have been confirmed up to this point. There is still no confirmation that Hulk Hogan is going to be in it, but it was confirmed not that long ago that Manny Pacquiao is ready to start shooting his part in the action movie. As soon as he is done with his fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr., Manny is expected to be working with the rest of the cast.

Other rumors included Jackie Chan being cast in this movie. According to reports, the martial arts expert was asked to be in the movie more than one time, but he wanted an expanded role. Initially he was going to be in a couple short fight sequences, but he was not impressed with that option. In talks with Stallone, it looks like the odds are getting better that we are going to see Chan, but that has yet to be confirmed.

The cast of super action stars is starting to get quite long and it would appear that the Expendables franchise is far from being over. Speaking of that, there is at least one source online that is reporting that the movie could end up on television as a series at some point. That source is reporting that the television series would bring the action stars of TV together just like it has with movie stars.

The Expendables 4

Just because anything will be shown on Television, the odds are good that we will see the series at some point. When that is going to happen is another story at this point. There are plenty of television action stars to bring into the series, however, including Mr. T., Chuck Norris, Avi Lerner, Kirk Ward and Stallone, of course. Whether or not the series could survive on television these days has yet to be seen, but there is no reason it could not take over where the A-Team left off.
