Exciting New Features Introduced With Clash of Clans Halloween Update, Skeleton Traps, New Mortar, and More

Clash of Clans Halloween Update is finally here. Gamers have been treated to a whole new bonus from Supercell. It’s not just a spooky new intro but comes packed with a whole lot of brand new features. If you are one of the cheap farmers, you may not like some of the features in this update. Although, keep in mind that some of them are temporary, hence you should get them before they are gone. New features included resource boots, additional stats, new traps and extra guns.

Skeleton Trap is an awesome new feature to be included with the Halloween update. If you are worried about spending your money to upgrade these, fret not as they are here to stay. These are to be permanently included in the game.

Gamers are still quite disturbed regarding the disappearance of their Santa Bombs during last year’s Christmas. The Skeleton Traps are Unlock-able and Upgradable to level 2 at TH 8. They can be maximized at Town Hall 9. Each of these traps releases a pair of skeletons when triggered. You will get an extra skeleton with every level of upgrade. They are similar to the witch’s summoned buddies.

They are great for creating a distraction among the Archers and Barbarians. They are better for picking away at the slow units that don’t defend themselves like that of Giants and Golems. Even better, they can be switched to an air mode where they gain the ability to pull down balloons at their leisure. At five spaces, they surely have one of the largest trigger for traps. Thankfully, unlike the giant bombs, they are not too expensive to be reset. You can stick them deep inside your base as they require only one tile to hide.

A new mortar has also been introduced. These will be exceptionally helpful against gamers who are raiding with Archer Armor presently. Making your way into the village storage will be tougher when a fourth mortar can splash your weaker troops to pieces.

With the Halloween update, you can zoom into the obstacles and find cute objects like pumpkins, bones, skulls and other spooky faces carved into them. Look out for the headstone as removing it takes up 25,000 Elixir. However, you will immediately get back three-fold hence make sure you pick up the 75,000.

Although, it seems like this feature will disappear right after Halloween. Another form of temporary feature is the One-gem spell boost. You can cook your spells four times faster for the next two hours by boosting a spell factory with just one gem. For the lazy gamers, an interesting feature introduces the gem-boosting of all resources with just a single-click. Along with these, gamers will find many new features introduced with the Halloween update.

Stay tuned for information on the latest game updates!
