After being out from the media limelight since they were last seen together on a Mediterranean vacation early in June and then again in London last month, it is very interesting to find out that the reason for the reported breakup of Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield is now the subject of news, rumors, and speculations on the internet once again.
According to newly-revived rumors, it was actor Ryan Gosling who reportedly caused the split of Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield in October last year.
The speculations say that Emma Stone has become a little too close with her co-star Gosling while they were doing the movie “La La Land,” that they have decided to form a special relationship.
Interestingly, if the reports were true back then, it would be Eva Mendes, the life partner of Ryan Gosling, who would be the first to react or perhaps even over-react since she and Gosling have just become parents to a lovely baby daughter sometime late last year.
Many keen observers and critics are now saying that the reason why the Andrew Garfield-Emma Stone-Ryan Gosling supposed love triangle rumors are now making the rounds online is because “La La Land” is about to be shown in theaters in December this year, notes Game & Guide.
In order not to spoil the plotline of the movie, perhaps the film’s publicist thought that promotions would be better off focusing on the personal love life of the actors involved in “La La Land.”
Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone have been paired in two movies before “La La Land,” including “Crazy, Stupid Love” and “Gangster Land.” Many believe that if the two are onto each other, they could have started the relationship then and not just recently.
Reviving an already dead rumor
Just a few months ago, reports started coming out that Emma Stone was already dating Austin Stowell. Again, it seems that the rumors are anchored on the fact that both Stone and Stowell are doing a film together entitled “Battle of the Sexes.”
So it seems that the Ryan Gosling – Emma Stone rumors have been revived from the dead because their movie together is about to be shown on December 2.
As a matter of fact, even Andrew Garfield is now being rumored to Dakota Johnson, because they are also filming a movie together entitled “Under the Silver Lake.”
So it seems that movie promotions these days are anchored more on the rumors and controversies that its lead stars can generate to help bring in the box-office numbers.
“La La Land” is due to hit theaters in December and an official trailer of the movie already came out just recently, showing the obvious on-cam chemistry between Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, notes the Parent Herald.
The two play aspiring artists trying to make it in Los Angeles. Gosling plays as a jazz singer while Stone portrays the role of an actress. The short clip featured both their struggles and successes and interestingly, showed Ryan Gosling, singing in most parts of the movie.
Just from the trailer alone, “La La Land” is obviously a romantic, whimsical, and even a bit surrealist of a movie, directed by Damien Chazelle.
Blessing in disguise
Incidentally, while Andrew Garfield felt bad about losing the Spider-Man role, it came to him as a blessing in disguise as he was able to get more film projects after. He eventually realized that he was meant to do other things than playing a superhero character.
