Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield Employing Strategy of Popular TV Series Characters to Get Reprieve from Media!

Celebrity couple Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield may have taken a page out of the book of the popular American crime drama TV series “Castle” on ABC in order for them to focus on their respective careers without being hounded by the media and intrigues.

In the TV series, Rick Castle, played by Nathan Fillion, and Kate Beckett, played by Stana Katic, were estranged for a couple of episodes before reuniting eventually. However, only the two of them knew of the rekindling of their romance so they have agreed to pretend to the public and their colleagues that they are still estranged so that they can concentrate more on their respective work – Beckett as a police captain, and Castle as an investigator and novelist.

It seems that Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield have done the same by simply allowing rumors to spread that the two of them have split for the umpteenth time late last year.

Interestingly, the rumors allude to the seeming closeness of Emma Stone with “La La Land” co-star Ryan Gosling, as the reason why Andrew decided to break up with his girlfriend.

If there is even an ounce of truth to those rumors, it is almost sure that Eva Mendes, the life partner of Ryan Gosling whom she shares a baby daughter with, would have publicly come out and admonished the “Drive” actor for cheating on her.

But not a single whisper or mumble has been heard about the pretty actress so it is almost sure that the rumors about Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone singing beautiful music together are nothing but hearsays.

Learned their lessons

It seems that Emma and Andrew have learned their lessons from their previous breakups. If they keep on believing what is reported on the media about them or denying them, the stories and rumors about them will never end, given their level of popularity.

While they know that they cannot shield themselves or their relationship from the media given their celebrity status, what is clear is that they can avoid being affected by it by just letting the media speculate, anyway, it’s good PR for them or their upcoming movies.

In fact, according to the Parent Herald, sources say that the reported breakup of Emma and Andrew was just a publicity stunt to promote Stone’s new movie which will be released on July 15.

“La La Land” is the third screen pairing of Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling after “Crazy Stupid Love” in 2011, and “Gangster Squad” in 2013.

Andrew Garfield, on the other hand, is close to finishing work for his upcoming movie, “Hacksaw Ridge.”

Very much together

Now, reports have it that Emma and Andrew are still very much together. In fact, there are presumptions that once “La La Land” is released to the theaters and Andrew starts promoting his movie later this year, he is likely to be shown with Emma again, notes Movie News Guide.

In addition to helping promote their respective upcoming movies, the rumors about their breakup would also push the media focus away from their relationship.

The two of them could also concentrate on their respective careers much better when their relationship is no longer on the spotlight.

According to some reports, Emma and Andrew decided to not bother answering questions or queries about their relationship in order to protect their relationship from being too much in the media limelight.

And if most of the media thinks that they are no longer a couple, they would surely let go of trying to find reports, rumors, or speculations about them or their relationship.

It looks even like that the split rumors was orchestrated when it was reportedly Andrew Garfield who said in an interview last October that he and Emma Stone are no longer together.
