“Frozen 2” was talked about a lot even before the film was officially announced – there were plenty of rumors for fans to go by, and many people loved to discuss the possibilities for the new film. And of course, ever since the production was officially confirmed to be in the works, those discussions skyrocketed and people have been talking about the new film all the time since then.
The number of rumors keeps going up, perhaps not surprisingly, and various things are being claimed for the new film, some actually quite interesting and in some cases even slightly shocking. Disney might be looking to explore the theme of homosexuality in “Frozen 2”, and of course the studio is interested in portraying it in a positive light.
Given how much society has changed and how children are being exposed to these ideas all the time anyway, it might be a smart move by Disney to do that. It would not only be potentially good for the children, but it could generate some positive attention for the studio itself as well, and considering Disney’s popularity and position in the industry, they could even set some new trends for children’s films in the future.
Anna and Kristoff’s relationship will likely be explored in more detail as well, something that fans have wanted to see for a while. On the other hand, we might finally see Elsa finding the true love of her life, but details on that remain sketchy and we have no idea how it’s going to be executed.
Of course, we can understand the secrecy, since if this is true, it will likely be a major plot point in the new film and it makes sense for Disney to want to keep it hidden for the time being. Another rumor claims that we may get to see more of Olaf and Sven, something which we certainly wouldn’t mind as the two characters have been very well received by fans.
Kristen Bell will be reprising her role as Anna, and she recently posted a picture of herself with a bag of ice on her official Twitter account, giving an obvious hint to the “Frozen” theme. There were lots of rumors surrounding her in particular, and her involvement in “Frozen 2”, and we can only imagine how difficult it must be for her to keep all those secrets that she likely knows at this point. Of course, that’s part of the job and probably part of the fun too, as it’s something special to have access to so much information that people want to get their hands on.
