The sixth installment to the open-world fantasy role-playing video game “Elder Scrolls 6” will likely roll out to the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 in the first quarter of next year.
Despite recent promotional initiative of developer Bethesda about the game in the recently-concluded Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2015 held at Las Vegas, Nevada on January 6 to 9, 2015, gamers believe that Bethesda would not be able to release the video game in the retail market this year, cites Christian Today.
During Bethesda’s tease of its upcoming role-playing video game, the only thing that was made clear to fans and gamers was that the official title of the game is “Elder Scrolls 6: Argonia.”
However, there is a possibility that “Elder Scrolls 6: Argonia” will be officially announced and launched in the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) event to be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center on June 16 to 18, 2015.
New gameplay features
Based on the initial information provided or teased by Bethesda, “Elder Scrolls 6: Argonia” will begin at the Black Marsh and shall eventually allow players to travel to any part of Tramiel including Morrowind, Hammerfall, Cyrodill, and Skyrim.
The game also reduced the FrenzyStance with the maps compared to previous versions.
“Elder Scrolls 6: Argonia” shall also feature a multiplayer online mode, which should excite gamers all the more. But the character or characters to be used in the multiplayer mode will be entirely different from the single-player mode. This means that a player needs to use different characters from the multiplayer and the single-player mode.
There have also been rumors that some fans got wind of that Bethesda has also removed the six-month subscription option on the multiplayer mode, making “Elder Scrolls Online” a free-to-play game.
Launching ahead of “Fallout 4”
When Bethesda teased “Elder Scrolls 6: Argonia” at CES 2015, the developer actually put further pressure on itself as now gamers and fans will be waiting two video games from them.
The other one is the highly-anticipated and long-awaited “Fallout 4.”
Since Bethesda has already teased “Elder Scrolls 6: Argonia” during CES 2015 and have not made any sort of promotional initiative or announcement about “Fallout 4” until now, gamers are almost one with the belief that the former will be released ahead of the latter.
Venture Capital Post also reported of rumored leaked script documents that detail war in Skyrim as well as possible job listing suggesting that Bethesda may be doing casting calls for voice actors.
Although it was not clear which role-playing game Bethesda is making the casting call for but it was mentioned that it was for a triple A video game. As such, gamers have come to the conclusion that it is for “Fallout 4” and not “Elder Scrolls 6: Argonia.”
