Elder Scrolls 6 not Coming Soon, Fans Looking Forward to Fallout 4 as They Discuss What They Want from the New TES!

There was a lot of arguing among Bethesda’s fans over whether the studio is going to release “Fallout 4” or “The Elder Scrolls 6” first, and for a while, both seemed like plausible options. However, there was a lot more happening on the “Fallout” front and pretty much nothing on the side of “TES”, so the official announcement for the next installment in the post-apocalyptic franchise didn’t come as a surprise to many.

At least in the sense that people expected to see “Fallout 4” sooner than “The Elder Scrolls 6” – on its own, the announcement for the new “Fallout” was definitely a very important event that quickly got a lot of attention from the entire gaming community, with many people getting obviously excited to see that their favorite franchise is about to be continued.

On the other hand, there is still no activity surrounding “TES 6” and we don’t expect that there will be anytime soon. The studio is very busy right now with polishing up the release of “Fallout 4”, and they will also need to provide post-release support for the game as well, which will obviously take up their time and prevent them from working on other projects with a full dedication.

We still have no idea what the next game could include in terms of gameplay features or setting, but there have been rumors that it will be called “Argonia”, as an obvious hint about where it will be set. Considering that the game is not actually going to come anytime soon though, it’s probably safe to consider that those rumors are not quite close to the truth.

Some fans have been discussing what they would like to see in the next game exactly, and it looks like there is an ocean of opinions in this regard in the community. There are various arguments over what Bethesda should and shouldn’t do, and there are some more peculiar requests in there among all the noise.

For example, some people apparently want the game to feature cooperative multiplayer. Others want an actually expansive online experience close to that of an MMO. On the other hand, there are also those who want to see the game focusing more tightly on its combat mechanics, something that has traditionally been lacking in the franchise as a whole and which has been a common source of criticism for some fans.

It’s true that the combat of “TES” has always felt clunky, even in “Skyrim” which was so highly renowned for the quality of its gameplay overall. The game had vast, lush landscapes to explore and at the same time it still featured the same clumsy combat mechanics as its predecessor, leaving many fans disappointed by this aspect of its gameplay. Still, it managed to make up for that with a great story and otherwise solid gameplay with lots of interesting features to learn and explore.

The request for multiplayer has been seen as strange by some as well. Bethesda’s fans were just got done complaining about “The Elder Scrolls Online”, which was not as successful as many had hoped, and the game suffered from various issues with its gameplay and even basic premise which quickly led to its downfall. Sure, it had some positive sides and ideas that were implemented correctly by Bethesda, but it was overall sloppy and not very well polished, especially in terms of its setting and environment.

  1. I think that TES online would have been a lot better if it had less people in it, more worlds etc… I loved Skyrim, however I really didn’t want to play Elder Scrolls online because it looked too overcrowded with players. It would have been better if it was a co-op game rather than multiplayer, where perhaps the maximum of people would be 6, and only friends would be invited to the game world. If Skyrim had the co-op option, it would have been interesting if people would get to decide which home they want for example and would go on missions together.
