And with all that in mind, “The Elder Scrolls 6” will most likely not even be discussed this year, let alone released. The title is probably going to be announced in late 2016 as the studio also has other games that they are working on, and their schedule has been quite busy lately.
“Doom” has reportedly been taking up their time quite a bit and we might see something interesting in this title, but it’s still in a very early phase and it’s hard to tell what the studio might be planning to do with the game.
They have recently released a video from its alpha gameplay, but it’s still a bit early to make conclusions about what the gameplay will be like and what might change in the future.
It looks like they are aiming for gameplay similar to that of “Quake”, only a little slower, and according to some fans that could definitely be a good idea with a lot of merit. Let’s just hope that they are going to get the balance right, as that will be the most critical aspect of a game like this and it will be very important to develop it properly around the idea of a well-balanced, well-rounded gameplay with a high skill ceiling but a low entry barrier.
