Dying Light is a very popular survival type game that was released this year by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The game can be played on the Xbox One, Playstation 4, Microsoft Windows and Linux. In the game, you are a part of an undercover operation that is sent to complete a task or two in a fictional city. It is just like any other open world game and features zombies along with a day and night cycle which adds to the game environment.
The game graphics are going to pull you in without a doubt. When Dying Light it was released, the reviews that showed up online praised the game for graphics, gameplay, combat, co-op play, the day-night cycle and the navigation throughout the game. The one criticism came when the game started having technical issues and some players were not happy about the game’s story. Some thought the game was too difficult, but who likes a game they can master before dinner time?
For those that have been playing the game the last month or more, there is some good news for you coming out this week. According to online sources, there will be downloadable content available soon. Techland has announced that it will be releasing new DLC to those that have the DLC Season Pass. This week, the company already released a part of it. Cuisine & Cargo is available if you have the Season Pass and it comes with two “hardcore” buildings, with missions included.
According to the DLC details from the company, next month you will be seeing the “Ultimate Survival Bundle”. That comes with new outfits for your characters and some weapons that others are describing as “over-the-top”. When it comes to zombie apocolypse type games that you are thrown into with surviving as the goal, what is not over-the-top. The last part of the DLC that was detailed, is coming in May. That portion is called “The Bozak Horde”.
As you might have guessed, that is going to bring a new map for you to check out, called Harran Stadium. With the new map, you are basically going to be inside a stadium fighting waves and waves of zombies with the hopes that you will come out alive. If you have the Season Pass, then you might as well download it and take a look around, but if not, the update is going to cost you about $20 to get the downloaded content.
