The release of the game will kick things off with some positive announcements, such as the availability of Goku Black free of charge, and we expect to hear even more exciting news as October 25 approaches.
This will be an important release for the industry, as it has a real chance to breathe some fresh life into a genre that’s been in need of some extra attention lately. Whether or not the game will actually be successful is early to tell, but even its release by itself should give some hope to fans, and show them that a lot more can be done with this type of gameplay.
Bandai Namco also seem to have some guilt left over from the release of the first game in the series, and they’ll apparently be trying to make up for that with the new title in various ways.
Other than the freebies that are being announced here and there, we’re not sure how much more the studio could potentially do to make their players happy, but we trust that they’re actively following them in online discussions, and know exactly what people want to see in the new game. Which brings us back to the obvious question of how they’re going to address the spam issue, but it will all be revealed in due time we suppose.
