Bandai Namco was looking to release a Day 1 patch for “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” on October 26 but the update was still in the works then so the Japanese game developer decided to release it instead one week later or on November 1.
The first patch is called 1.02 and includes plenty of improvements to the fighting game considering that it has a 700 MB file size.
Patch 1.02 has improved lag and synch issues during online play, changed default setting when executing quick match and search, shortened duration of load sequence, adjusted parameters to balance battle, and other minor bug fixes.
Bandai Namco also took to Steam three weeks ago to announce the arrival of the first patch to “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” as well as some of the things that the game developer is working on for future patches and updates to the game.
Some of those that the Japanese game developer mentioned include the missing DLC for Steam users. The DLC includes Goku Black and Future Trunks. Game balances for Male Majin and the Awaken Power form of Namekians have also been implemented.
Controller issues, Depths of Despair Expert Mission Giant Ki attack issue, English Voice-over issues, and Crash and launch issues for Steam users were also being addressed by Bandai Namco.
With the game launched a little over a month ago, players should expect more patches and updates to come from the developer.
