After countless hours of closing rifts, destruction of lyrium veins and defeating a lot of dragons, you finally end up finishing Dragon Age: Inquisition. Have you finished it? Awesome! Are you asking yourself as to what the hell just happened? Calm down, you’re not the only one. Even if you have been playing Dragon Age since Origins, the ending to Inquisition and more specifically the post-credit epilogue will surely leave you scratching your head.
A lot of things depend on you, as a gamer, understanding what happened in the end. If you have not played the correct bits in the previous games or use the correct party members or even look at certain codex entries, the epilogue may not make any sense to you. A scene uploaded recently by DanaDuchy, playing after the credits, sheds some light on what I’m talking about. In this scene, you will witness Solas and Flemeth speaking like they were old friends.
Until you have seen this, you have no reason whatsoever, to believe that these characters know each other. Flemeth apparently petrifying in Solas’ arms makes it all the more confusing. Taking a look at Solas’ character card after you have beaten the game further adds to the mystery. A few things are evidently clear. Solas disappeared after the battle with Corypheus.
However, even after successfully completing the mission in Inquisition, Solas appears rather disgruntled. He seems to be more interested with the broken orb rather than closing the rift. Solas ends up giving the orb to Corypheus! On top of that, Flemeth, whose body houses the Spirit of Mythal, acknowledges Solas as ‘Dread Wolf’, which seems rather interesting at this point.
This name is the key to understanding a lot about the ending of Dragon Age: Inquisition. Similar to her, Solas also houses an Elven God. People might have already guessed that this is bad news. In an image looking like Last Supper, we can see Solas in the same spot as that of Judas. However, the bombshell in this entire fiasco is Solas, being the ‘Dread Wolf’, if you even know who the ‘Dread Wolf’ is.
In other news, it seems like Gamers in India will not officially get their hands on Dragon Age: Inquisition. Various parts of the internet, including a lot of the EA forums are abuzz with speculations.
An official statement issued by EA concludes that anyone who has pre-ordered this title in India or Pakistan or Bangladesh will have their money refunded. In order to prevent any breach of the local content laws, EA has withdrawn Dragon Age: Inquisition from sale in India. The customers, who pre-ordered the game before, will be contacted personally and will have their money refunded.
