Dragon Age: Inquisition Delivers New Tasks for Online Players – Dragon Hunting

The developers of “Dragon Age: Inquisition” have been trying quite hard to keep their players entertained and give them enough variety in the gameplay, and this time, multiplayer agents have been given an interesting new task to go after. The new mission is actually more challenging than usual, which is why players have been given extra time to complete it, extending the limit to Wednesday instead of the typical Monday.

The task involves killing high dragons in search for reward chests. In particular, they will have to slay six high dragons in order to be given a Commendation Chest. Communities will have to engage in serious bloodbaths with this update, as players will need to do a lot of dragon killing in order for everyone to get their hands on an elusive chest, and the news managed to immediately revive interest in the title.

Not that it’s been suffering from lack of attention lately anyway – the game is still going strong with lots of regular players, and the numbers have gone up since announcing the new dragon hunt. Different communities of the game have also been tasked with slaying different numbers of dragons in order for players to be granted an extra chest – the specific numbers are 8,000 for the PC, 5,000 for Xbox One and 1,500 dragons slain on the PlayStation 4.

Completing that task will reward the respective community with a Victory Chest, and it looks like the numbers have been adjusted according to the size of the player base on each platform. “Dragon Age: Inquisition” remains a popular title on the PC, which would explain why players on that platform have been tasked with so much more.

High dragons are one of the more recent additions to the game, introduced with the “Dragonslayer” DLC that was released for free on all platforms. The DLC was well received by all fans and critics, as it added various new gameplay features, including two brand new characters.

Dragons can only be found in one specific location though, a new map that was introduced with the DLC called “Ferelden Castle”. Players can either hope to come across one of the creatures by chance, or summon it themselves which requires the use of certain items and materials.

Players will have to sacrifice 10 metal, 10 leather and 5 cloth for the “Dragon’s Call” consumable item, and they can select the type of dragon that they would like to fight against. The options given are fire, ice and lightning, so players should choose wisely based on the way they’ve developed their characters.
