Just like most fans would hope, Downton Abbey did wrap up a bunch of story lines and that leaves a good taste in the mouth for fans. Rumors and other speculation has been coming around that there might be a spin-off here and there, but there has not been anything confirmed by the creators, directors and anyone else associated with the show.
Those at PBS will be airing the final season of Downton Abbey starting on the third of January in 2016. PBS is expecting that the ratings for the final season in the United Kingdom will carry over into the United States as fans gear up to check it out after reading spoilers that last few months from the United Kingdom.
Those that watch the show know that it will be a huge hit and do not expect that every story line will be wrapped up and while some sources refuse to post about spoilers, some did mention that there will be plenty to wonder about when the show is done.
