On an interesting note, the final episode of the show will be a Christmas special, which could make things that much more difficult for fans, as it’s pretty much guaranteed that there will be some serious emotions in this episode, although there will probably be lots of positivity above all.
Will Tom finally see happiness? The character has suffered particularly badly during the show’s run so far and many fans have been hopeful that he will finally get to have a more normal life in the end. That’s definitely possible and would make for a good conclusion to his part of the story, but we don’t know how likely it is.
The producers themselves haven’t given any hints in this direction, but we know that they keep an eye on online discussions about their production so they are definitely aware of the huge sentiment that fans have towards Tom, and we would be surprised if they don’t decide to do something to improve the character’s situation at least a little bit until the end of season 6.
