‘Dota 2’ Tournaments, Big and Small, Help Ensure the Durability of the Video Game

Harding confirmed that they are indeed already planning something bigger for the professional and amateur scenes after The Impress Dad Indy 500. He added that he is also no longer interested in working for the professional scene since everyone else from Valve down to the major “DoTA 2” gaming groups already have the segment covered.

He said that his focus now is to contribute in helping “DoTA 2” stay in the map among video games for a good while and that they can do by helping amateur players elevate to the pro scene or bringing in more new players to the amateur leagues.

When asked if The Impress Dad Indy 500 was a pretty comfortable and easy tournament for him and his team, Netukka admitted that it was for the most part. He said that it was during the round of 16 where they had a tough opponent and also during the semi-finals where they had a long game.

The Finnish gamer said that other than those challenges, it was pretty smooth sailing for the team especially in the Grand Finals where they won Game 1 in only 25 minutes and Game 2, even better at 12 minutes. He also said that they were not expecting much when they got into the tournament so winning it all was like a bonus for them. The “Dota 2” Essentials extended its congratulations to the winning E-LAB team for playing excellently well during the tournament.
