Doctor Who Season 10 is going to bring in a new companion for Capaldi. Pearl Mackie will play the role of Bill. She will be replacing Jenna Coleman’s Clara Oswald. Season 9 of Doctor Who saw Clara erasing herself from the Doctor’s memory to stop him from being burdened by her fate.
While Clara knew the Doctor in and out, Doctor Who is completely new to Bill and this will make things interesting in Season 10. Bill’s character is described as irreverent and cheeky and is going to be a contrast to the serious Doctor portrayed by Capaldi.
Fans were shocked by Clara’s action, but there is hope that her mind-wipe of the Doctor wasn’t successful. Peter Capaldi hinted at this and said that he was about to give out information that he wasn’t supposed to. Capaldi even suggested that he has shot things with Clara in it.
These revelations hint at the possibility of Jenna Coleman playing the role of Clara in Season 10.
