Coming up in August is QuakeCon 2016 and that is when you are going to get an exclusive look at Dishonored 2, according to online sources.
Starting on August 4th, in Dallas, Texas, QuakeCon 2016 is going to be headlined by Arkane’s Dishonored 2 and gamers could not be more excited about it. Coming along with Dishonored 2 will be a sneak peek at “Prey”, according to one online source. Bethesda puts on the event each year and this year the first day is going to have the exclusive look at the Dishonored 2 gameplay.
If you cannot make it to the first day of the event, do not worry as one source claims there will be another presentation on the second day. Other games that will be ready for your gaming pleasure include “Fallout Shelter”, “DOOM” and “The Elder Scrolls: Legends.” That should keep you plenty busy on the first day of the event. When it comes to Dishonored 2, there are a few things that loyal gamers are going to be looking out for. Being the most anticipated game of the year is not something to take lightly.
The sequel to the “Game of the Year” in 2012, Dishonored 2 will pick right up where the last one left off and that is always a good sign for a sequel to be successful. The hero is going to be a little different in the second installment of the game and has been noted as the 25-year old Emily. She is clearly going to be following in her fathers footsteps in a world that takes place about ten years after the Rat Plague. Emily is cast from her position and is outcast by the Empire which only makes getting back to the throne that much more important to her.
For those of you that do not want to play with the brand new hero and are dreaming for the option to play with the original hero, Corvo Attano, you will get the option to choose. When you start the game, you get to choose Emily or Corvo, who is much older as expected. Even though he is older, his abilities have been upgraded as well. Choosing to start the game with Emily, you will see her get the Outsider’s mark, which grants her special weapons and supernatural abilities that will prove to be quite helpful in her quest.
