Jennifer Lawrence first broke into the big screen with a minor role in the movie “Garden Party” back in 2008. It was shortly followed by her first starring role in the drama movie “The Poker House” also in the same year where she portrayed the role of a young victim of abuse.
“The Poker House” was directed by Lori Petty who immediately saw her potentials to make it big in Hollywood. True enough, Jennifer Lawrence is one of the most popular and bankable Hollywood actresses today, or about seven years after impressing director Petty back then.
Petty recalls what she felt when she saw Jennifer Lawrence’s audition tape in 2007 was the same as when veteran actor Robert De Niro showed her Leonardo Di Caprio’s acting in “This Boy’s Life,” shown in 1993.
She remembers being very impressed with Jennifer that she knew right there and then that the young actress would became a really great actress and big movie star. True enough, Jennifer did become a big movie star and her being a great actress can also be attested by her winning an Academy Award for Best Actress for the movie “Silver Linings Playbook” shown in 2012.
Jennifer also got two nominations from the Oscars but did not win. She first got nominated as Best Actress for the movie “Winter’s Bone” in 2010 and then again as Best Supporting Actress in 2013 for the movie “American Hustle.”
These days, Lori is just happy for Jennifer and the continued success that she continues to reap as a great actress and a big movie star, notes Just Jared.

Greg normally walks three steps ahead of “The Hunger Games” star and he is also often doing the pushing off of paparazzis out of the way so that Jennifer can keep her privacy and peace.

While some pundits are fantasizing about Greg and Jennifer eventually dating one another, many of her fans and non-fans are simply mouth-watery over her bodyguard.
One female fan said that she just needs Jennifer Lawrence now because she wants to date her bodyguard. Another one also tweeted that J-Law’s bodyguard looks like a model and if the actress is not tapping him, then she should be.
