Only six months are left until the release of ‘Jurassic World’ in cinemas, but plot details have already started to come out. Recently, director Colin Trevorrow left a message as a holiday gift on Twitter and gave a lot of hints regarding what the film would be all about. He also wished ‘Happy Holidays’ from the editing room and declared not to try this at home.
The tweet included a photo of ‘Jurassic World’ with the main protagonist Chris Pratt, who we recently experienced in Guardians of the Galaxy. He poses next to the dangerous and violent Velociraptor. The picture shared by Colin suggests that we may get to experience the human characters fighting alongside the dinosaurs instead of fleeing away from them.
Meanwhile, Trevorrow also hinted that Chris Pratt’s character could have a relationship with the dinosaurs. In a recent interview with Slashfilm, he said that Owen’s relationship with the Raptors could appear quite complicated.
The animals are quite violent and nasty (no surprise there!) and will easily rip your head off if you make a wrong move. Owen, played by Chris Pratt indicates that they weren’t friends but had a complicated relationship. According to him, there are men and women who have built dangerous relationships with vicious predators, which is a rather interesting story for him.
Earlier, during an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Trevorrow was obdurate and declared that he wished to add a new voice to the franchise by redefining it in a favorable manner. He indicated that there are numerous bold ideas in the movie, and he wishes to push them as much forward as he can. Steven Spielberg doesn’t want him to make a complete copy of his franchise. As a result, the directors are going in for some variations. He further stated that Chris Pratt plays a character doing a behavioral research on the vicious raptors.
Although they aren’t trained, they can surely do a lot of tricks. He just wishes to find out the relationship between the highly intelligent creatures and the human beings. If the people think that the movie does not have a valid potential, they won’t like it at all. However, the director wants the audience to give it a shot. ‘Jurassic World’ is a continuation of the franchise 22 years after the events of Jurassic Park in Isla Nublar.
The location now comprises of a fully-functional dinosaur theme park known as Jurassic World. It is the idea that was first envisioned by John Hammond. After the ten long years of operation and the visitor rates declining steadily, a new attraction is created. The makers wish to bring back the visitors and obviously, it backfires horribly. Universal Studios will release Jurassic World on 2D, 3D and IMAX theaters on 12th June, 2015.
